My GPS mesada 070 frozen. Rebooting does not start shell. A strip load reaches the end, but the shell does not start. Service Center in my town does not repair these devices. I can connect the device to a PC via JTAG. Where can I get software and firmware for repair?

thanks for your words, but you have to turn the device on ,if you want to update the software . 

as you said ,even though you have got software ,still no way to update.

it is suggested that you can return your device to its manufacuter

Hi, I have a win 4.2, 7'' car gps and I the only thing I know is that it is mesada 2440. The gps module is not running and I get the followin picture http://img708.imageshack.us/img708/1850/dsc00182small.jpg. Is it possible to tell me how to make it working (maybe with a new firmware)?

 we have tried to open this website for many times ,but it still failed .


 but any way, if you want to repair your GPS and make it working by updating software ,you need to make sure that the device will be turned on .if it does ,let me know the version of software on your device ,  i will try to send to you

For my project I want to use your hardware ptatform, ProductType 2450 but I can't find any documentations regarding layout pins assigment. I badly need to connect to the device added serial port RS-232, assuming the use of IC MAX-232
Could you send me, boards' pins description (I hope, that is possible)?
I also welcome the firmware files, which can be useful if something failed.

My device in Settings->Normal->system shows the following:

Could you confirm if it is true and, if positive, could you tell me how can I reload the firmware once since  a few weeks when I restart the unit, it stop on the boot screen (doesn't load the interface).

I bought two devices 7.0" GPS and one does not work after my failed update.
The system does not start .
I´m buying now a third device, I would bee, pleased, if the first device work.

you have to make sure that the device turns on ,otherwise ,you cant update firmware again.it is suggested to return your devive to manufacturer.

if your device cant turn on , it wont be updated. we suggest that return it to manufacturer.
